Resumen:
Abstract
This research study studies the coverage and media treatment carried out by Spanish cybermedia on artificial intelligence (AI) applied to the creation of visual works. To achieve this, a double methodology has been used, through an exploratory content analysis and a study of Internet search trends. The content analysis was carried out using a data sheet that was administered to a sample made up of 25 journalistic information previously selected with the Google News tool. The results conclude that, in relation to this phenomenon, the press preferably reports on technological developments, being an effective source for information about applications and their operation, although greater criticism and depth are lacking in the development of the applications. contents. Other topics are also addressed, such as the authorship of these works, intellectual property and its consequences on the work of artists. The genres of reportage and news predominate in articles with a neutral or positive sentiment towards the use of AI in art. In the implications, the multiple research possibilities lead us to propose other works involving professionals in the sector and even users as consumers and prescribers of these creations.
